LL Update

By: Seth McKinzie

HOOPS

Tomorrow night marks the last regular season game for the Lions and Lady Lions basketball teams. The squads head over to the east side of I-49 to face Pea Ridge. The Blackhawks have both teams enjoying stellar seasons and the task ahead for Gravette’s boys and girls will be daunting.

On January 11, the Lions fell to Pea Ridge 56-45 while the Lady Lions fell by the same margin but with the score 64-53. The Blackhawks sport a 20-5 overall record and sit 8-3 in the conference which is currently good enough for fourth place in the standings. The Lady Blackhawks are 22-4 overall, 9-2 in conference play, and sit behind Harrison in second place.

Both GHS teams are coming off losses to Prairie Grove Tuesday night.
